The Mud Dauber Pottery Studio and Gallery in Earlysville VA is definitely a place to visit. It is a fun and interesting thing to do in the Earlysville area.
The main reason for stopping by the wonderful Mud Dauber Pottery Studio and Gallery is because has a workspace and fine gallery for viewing the artwork of local artists. Another reason is because the items here are most interesting and lovely to view. Thus, it is a must see on my list for all arts and crafts lovers!
The studio and gallery are owned by well-known potter, Suzanne Crane. Her work is both expertly crafted and simply beautiful. On her website, Suzanne describes Mud Dauber Studio and Gallery...
"Mud Dauber Pottery houses a working studio and a separate gallery featuring the award-winning fine functional stoneware and earthenware of Suzanne Crane, Becky Garrity, and Sara Schneidman. Also, the walls display two-dimensional artwork featuring work by Virginia artists. Visitors can watch the potters at work in the studio when they come to visit the gallery."

Mud Dauber Studio is located in Earlysville, just west of the Charlottesville Regional Airport. It is on Earlysville Road, across from the Earlysville Animal Hospital. It is only 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. Above all else, I can promise this place is so worth the trip from wherever you are!
