The Foothill Crossing Neighborhood is home to 92 single family properties. It is located on Park Ridge Drive beginning at Raven Stone Road.
First of all, Foothill Crossing is a fairly new community. Development began around 2010. The contractors in this area are Craig Builders, Stanley Martin Homes, and Evergreen. The houses are 1 to 2 stories high. Also, these homes have basements and garages. Construction is wood, brick, and/or stone. The landscaping is nice and some homes back up to the woods. Raven Stone Road properties have the largest lots which are close to 3/4 acre. The rest of the area lots are near 1/2 acre in size. In addition, the Foothill Crossing Homeowners Association owns over 17 acres of open space. Furthermore, this is a quiet place where some homes have mountain views. Another great reason to live here is because it is a good area for walking, running, and cycling. Finally, the drive to town is very short.

One of the loveliest features of Foothill Crossing is that it is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The very popular Claudius Crozet Park in the town of Crozet is a mecca of outdoor sports venues. Also, nearby is the beautiful Mint Springs Valley Park for hiking and fishing. Crozet has many wonderful amenities with just about anything you may need nearby. Groceries can be bought at Crozet Great Valu (Crozet Market) in town and Harris Teeter and Brownsville Market just outside of town. In addition, the area has UVA Family Medicine and Sentara Crozet Family Medicine. Also, there is a library, a variety of restaurants and shops, the wonderful Crozet Hardware Co. and Starr Hill Brewery.
Of important note, this area is rich in culture and the arts. Also, there is the bi-annual Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival. The Crozet Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Crozet is only 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and UVA. Above all else, the small town feel, not far from the city, in a beautiful area makes this a great place to live.
