The Redfields Neighborhood is a large community of 455 properties of single family and attached patio homes. It is located just off Sunset Avenue Extension via Swan Ridge Road and Redfields Road.
The very large and beautiful Redfields Neighborhood is quite a mix of modern and colonial style homes. This is due to the wide variety of one level to 2 story houses. Construction is wood and/or brick. Most lots are under 1/3 acre in size. The landscaping is very pretty. There are mature trees and rolling hills with mountain views. Also, there is a lovely lake and lots of woods. The whole area gives one a sense of country living in a quaint town with lots of neighbors. The entire Redfields area is great for walking, running, and cycling. Also, there is the swimming pool and playground area to enjoy. The HOA is known as the Redfields Community Association. This is a wonderful neighborhood to live in because of its many features.

Patio homes, or attached homes, along Devon Springs Court, Pebble Hill Court, Courtyard Drive, and Heritage Court all have main level bedrooms and attached garages. They are really quite lovely because the folks who live here take good care of their property. While many Seniors live in these areas, the whole neighborhood is home to a variety folks.

The Redfields Neighborhood is a much sought after place to live. This is because it is very affordable and easily accessed from all things Charlottesville. Major employers in the area are Albemarle County, UVA, UVA Health Systems, and Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital. They are just a short drive away. Carter Mountain Orchard, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, James Monroe’s Highland and the new popular 5th Street Station shopping and dining area are very close by. Interstate 64 is easily accessible for points east and west. Certainly, Redfields close location to Downtown Charlottesville, major businesses, and areas of interest makes it a very attractive neighborhood!
