The Wickham Pond neighborhood is a community of 144 single family homes and townhomes. It is located on Wickham Pond Drive just off Rte. 240 near Crozet VA.
First of all, the Wickham Pond Neighborhood is actually an Albemarle County area with Charlottesville addresses. However, it is so close to the town of Crozet that it is considered part of the Crozet area. The community began developing in the mid 2000’s. The 2 story houses and townhomes are modern New England type styles and blend in well together. Properties are less than 1/4 acre in size. Also, the Wickham Pond Community Association owns over 11 acres of open space and community parking. The pond area is in the back of the neighborhood. In addition, it is a lovely area that has mountain views for some homes. Finally, this is a popular and convenient place to live near all Crozet has to offer.

One of the loveliest features of the Wickham Pond area is that it is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The very popular Claudius Crozet Park in the town of Crozet is a mecca of outdoor sports venues. Also, nearby is the beautiful Mint Springs Valley Park for hiking and fishing. Crozet has many wonderful amenities with just about anything you may need nearby. Groceries can be bought at Crozet Great Valu (Crozet Market) in town and Harris Teeter and Brownsville Market just outside of town. The Crozet Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Crozet is only 15 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and UVA. Above all else, the small town feel, not far from the city, in a beautiful area makes this a great place to live.
