Rolling hills of pretty homes, people out walking, and birds chirping are very descriptive of the Still Meadow neighborhood in the morning hours. This area is just 5 minutes away from major Rte. 29 shopping with all of the amenities. The wide streets and cul-de-sacs are tree-lined with varying, lovely traditional style homes. Some homes back up to wooded areas, especially those near the Rivanna River. All properties are very well-kept so you have the sense of residents who care for their community.
The Still Meadow neighborhood was originally developed in the late 1990s. Most of the homes were constructed by R.D. Wade Builders, Gaffney Custom Homes, Van del Linde Homes, and later by Barry Meade Homes. The Still Meadow Community Association oversees all covenants for home owners. All homes are built with at least 30% brick or other substantial masonry, including stone. This is a nice community with privacy and a lot of pleasing variation.
