Jefferson Woods is located just south of the historic district in the Fry’s Spring area, just beyond the Fry’s Spring Beach Club. This area mostly consists of single family brick homes on quarter-acre lots. These homes were built in the late 1950’s and throughout the 1960’s. Most homes enjoy private back yards that back up to wooded area. Many front yards have seasonal views of the surrounding mountains. The primary street is McElroy Drive, curving along the hillside, with Troost Court and Marion Court located off of McElroy.
Jefferson Woods real estate market: Although it is a smaller city neighborhood, Jefferson Woods had four home sales in 2017. So far this year (as of 3-1-2018), one home in Jefferson Woods, 2731 McElroy Drive, has come on the market in 2018, priced $349,500 and under contract in one day!
