The U.S. Post Office lists the number of residences in Earlysville (22936) as approximately 2400. Most of those homes are located within small-medium-sized subdivided neighborhoods of parcels 1 – 5 acres. The Earlysville area is (sort-of) divided into areas delineated by State routes, so we’ve organized the neighborhoods that way. There are also any number of homes located along these streets and others, with 2 acres or 200+. The area called Earlysville slips up to the Free Union area as well, with Davis Shop Rd.

**There are also Advance Mills and Advance Mills Estate – these properties were called Earlysville forever, and then the addresses were changed to Ruckersville. They are really the Advance Mills area.
**Markwood Road is a small two lane road where many homes are hidden in the forests. Two of these neighborhoods are Buck Falls Farm (at the end of Allen Road) and Wood Crest. The Chimney Rock neighborhood is very small. You must drive through the Windrift neighborhood to get there. Also, there are homes long the road that are not in designated neighborhoods.
