Earlysville Road Neighborhoods, from the Rivanna Reservoir to Buck Mountain Road
The Earlysville Road Neighborhoods are many and vary in size. This page lists all of the Earlysville neighborhood subdivisions on and just off Earlysville Road. We have divided these areas into two parts, the South End and the North End, which includes Earlysville proper.
First of all, when you drive north on Earlysville Road from the Rivanna Reservoir, you have entered one major area of Earlysville. All along the way you will encounter many interesting and diverse areas. This is because there are beautiful farmlands, many ranch, cape and colonial style homes, and undesignated areas. Also, you will find a variety of subdivisions (neighborhoods). And then there are the businesses, the Chisholm Family Vineyard, and the quaint Earlysville proper! The road goes through many forested areas. However, there are open space areas with beautiful mountain views. Most of the road entrances into the subdivisions are very scenic. Furthermore, the majority of neighborhoods here are can only be accessed from Earlysville Road. In addition, subdivisions are both large and small. Finally, it is because of this wide variety that we have split these areas in two. This should make navigation easier for you.

The Earlysville Road Neighborhoods are all great rural locations close to Charlottesville. This is because of all of the nearby amenities. Within Earlysville proper are professional offices, a post office, an animal hospital, and several churches. Also, the beautiful Rivanna River is close by. Furthermore, a short drive away is Rte. 29. Consequently, you will find good restaurants and great shopping. The Hollymead Town Center offers Harris Teeter, Target, Panera Bread, and much more. Also nearby is the Forest Lakes shopping area. There is Food Lion, a UPS store, a car wash, and other restaurants, etc. Of special note, the Charlottesville Airport is also in this area. Finally, historic Downtown Charlottesville and the University of Virginia are only a 20 minute drive away. Finally, it certainly seems like any of these neighborhoods would make wonderful places to call home!
