Mural Project in Charlottesville VA
“Senyelistli”, by Federico Cuatlacuati. Public Art Mural located at Sun Tribe Warehouse, 1801 Broadway in Charlottesville.

The Charlottesville Mural Project is a program of THE BRIDGE Progressive Arts Initiative, based here in Charlottesville. The concept behind this project is to encourage community involvement by showcasing artistic talents. Also important is the creation of  interesting visual concepts in the landscapes of the city. In addition, the folks who make these murals are artists, designers, volunteers, writers, and even poets. Anyone can get involved. The murals range from street graffiti art to formal themes pertaining to that particular area. They are all over the city of Charlottesville and other areas, such as Crozet. In addition, many local businesses and foundations are major supporters.
